I know what you’re thinking. A pigeon? How is that better than a raven? I guess this is not applicable to all, but I have a real fondness for the birds. I like ravens, too — but I don’t see them all too often. But there’s a family of pigeons that live in my neighbor’s gutters, and I enjoy listening to their muffled coos when walking my dog. That’s why I was particularly excited to add this majestic bird to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. And you can do it, too.
To unlock the pigeon, you have to own Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, of course, and also be an Amazon Prime subscriber. On the Prime Gaming page, there’s a link to claim the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Carolingian Dynasty Gear Pack, which includes a gear set, horse mount, ship skin, and a weapon — alongside the bird. If your Ubisoft Connect and Prime accounts aren’t linked already, you’ll have to do that. But otherwise, just claim the stuff and it’ll automatically get added to your game.
You’ll see that the set has been added to the game next time you log in. But to equip the pigeon, which is the best part of the gear set, you’ll want to head over to the nearest horse stable. These also act as aviaries, and you can select the pigeon from the menu, as seen in the screenshot above.

Unfortunately for me, the pigeon is only a reskin — it appears that Ubisoft did not hire a pigeon to record its enchanting coos. A real bummer there!
